I happen to love the color "Pool Party" and decided to use it with my stencil. I did the stenciling in a little different manner. On a scrap piece of paper, I inked my stencil with the Pool Party. I then moved my "dirty" stencil on top of my white CS and "cleaned" it with a baby wipe. The dots you see are what transferred onto my CS. I then proceeded to stamp the silhouetted images on top of the dots.

I like what you did with the stencil, Sallie; it looks so nice having the faded effect! Also, it's interesting how the bottom 2 sets of leaves resemble butterflies......so if this is considered a weed, I'd like to have some in my back yard!

I think you just invented (or named) a new technique..the dirty stencil technique ) Lovely card and I agree with the sentiment..I know some people with a whole lotta "wildflowers" in their yards.

Love the way your dots fade out going towards the corner. That sentiment is really nice and so true! I am such a fan of silhouettes and this one is so very pleasing. Wonderful card all round!
Wonderful background stenciling. Makes for a perfect backdrop for that wonderful silhouette.
