Thanks Bridget for bringing the community our newest featured stamper, BarbieP! I enjoyed going through her gallery, especially all the masculine cards. We share a like for Tim Holtz as well.
When I got to CAS Color Block, I knew this was the one. I had the stamp sitting unlinked just above eye level in my studio and I loved the CAS style. Well, I have to agree with hobbydejour (Sallie) about not being a 'CASEer'. But Barb, I did take all of the most wonderful elements of your card!
I used the same sentiment, color blocked, and layered. I changed to use the chalkboard technique, stenciled my 'tape' mixes, and used wonky staples. I added a couple of metal stencil alphas.
Barb, I hope you enjoy your time in the spotlight. It was an honor to take inspiration from you. Blessings to you this Eastertide...Resurrection Sunday.
