This is one of my cards for the CC474 challenge "Very Pink Pudding" to use Pink Pirouette, Very Vanilla and PistachioPudding, with NO stamping if you want dessert! I skipped dessert on this one -
After stamping the swallowtail on cream cs and heat embossing with pearl ep, I colored with shimmer watercolors and Copic markers. Now, I've never actually seen a pink and green butterfly, but it's possible, right?
The background layer is this really cool textured paper I rescued from an old greeting card envelope. I rubbed the side of a pale green soft pastel across it and wiped off most of it with a tissue before embossing it in the butterfly ef. It barely shows in the picture, but is fairly evident IRL. I fussy cut the butterfly and glued his body, right wing (what there is of it) and the bottom of his left wing to the layer, the top part of his left wing is curled slightly and popped up with a dimensional. The layer was adhered to the card base with Scor-tape, and Wink of Stella added to the butterflies on the background layer.
As always, thanks for looking!
