Congratualtions to Diana Nguyen, aka Yours Truly, on being this week's Featured Stamper. She has a really lovely gallery. I chose this card as inspiration:
I loved the simple lines of both these inspiration pieces. I did not do a one layer card like Diana, but I did use embossing on my lower panel and then a simple image instead of die cuts as my focal point. I used ribbon instead of scored lines to seperate my sections.

You're right; so many us have been drawn to Diana's beautifully designed card. :-) I love that you used ribbon to divide the embossed section from the smooth. This makes a beautiful sympathy card with that silhouette image. I really like silhouettes and think they are perfect for sympathy cards. Very nice card indeed!
