Charles Shultz stole our hearts with Charlie Brown's tree and he stole Maddie's heart too. She is entirely paper pieced including shoes and socks and stripes on the scarf. After she was pieced I tried shading the papers. This is not my most brilliant idea since she is a bit lumpy from all the layers. I had lots of fun doing this one. Thanks for stopping by.

The image is so sweet and you've paper pieced it wonderfully. Your stitching wrapped it up in a super way. I love that Charlie Brown type tree Maddie is carrying. I put a small pine tree (fake) on a foyer table this Christmas and put one ornament on it. I loved it! Of course, I had a big tree, too.

Nancy, your paper piecing is just the best!! Maddie looks so adorable, holding her little 'tree', and all the awesome stitching on the layers of your card, with the touch of twine - GREAT CARD!

Your paper piecing is just incredible and the colors are so rich and vibrant. Your stitching ROCKS and it is becoming a signature thing for you and you do it sooooo well. It is always just the right addition to your creation. Love this card...faved and pinned!
