Hello friends,
Finally got this done. The lighthouse for the Tea Potters in the colors of the color challenge...woohoo!!
Made a sunset of yellow and orange and the sea is blue green (closest I could come to the CC colors).
I used white pencil, white paint and stickles along the shore line for the sea foam and splashes up the rocks. I also tried to make it look a little more feminine with the die frame and ribbon. I was thinking cord and nautical knots but then, ah no, this is going to another Tea Potter not a guy so there ya go!.

I'm on the laptop just now, so I saw the top part of the image before scrolling down to see who it was - and I just KNEW this was yours ;-). What a beauty it is, and what a wonderful use of the colour challenge colours. I love the way you've "feminised" it by adding the frame and ribbon. I must check out the IO lighthouses next time I have some spare €, this is at least the second one I've seen for the challenge this week.
I'm intrigued by Elizabeth's comment on the lobster traps telling her where this lighthouse was. They sure don't look like Irish lobster-pots, which aren't made out of wood at all, so they didn't tell me anything.

I think Sue28 said it best....this IS breathtaking. Robin you have created a work of art, I could sit and look at this all day. I cannot begin to image how long it took to colour everything so beautifully. The layout is gorgeous, gosh everything about this is gorgeous my friend. Do you know if Sabrina takes bribes?

You scene/card is FANTASTIC in the way that you colored it, Robin. You certainly captured the "glow" a sunset gives to everything at that time of day. Just gorgeous.
