Okay, I almost did not upload this card, but thought what the heck. I am so out of my comfort zone with color challenges. You give me colors to work around and I freeze up - go blank. But I am trying to step outside my comfort zone this year.
That being said, Vicki gave us CC4671- Coastal Tempting Cantalope. I tried to get as close to the colors as I could. The frame around the image panel looks somewhat yellow in my upload, but it is peach. I colored my image with markers and then spritzed with water to try giving it a watercolored effect.
Thanks so much for taking a closer look - hope you like it

Oh but I do like it! Those blue sponged panels somehow remind me of Japanese calligraphy scrolls and really complement the brush stroke flower. Lovely card!

This is just lovely, Barb. You did a great job! Sometimes I have trouble with the color challenges too. I really like it and like the white embossed background too.

This is beautiful Barbie. I think it has an abstract art look to it. At first glance your dry embossed bg looks pleated. So cool.

Wow! And this is out of your comfort zone? I'd call it a definite success! This is beautiful and you made those colors work so well. I just ordered this stamp last week and after seeing this, I'm so glad I did. Love the sponged squares. So unique and gorgeous!
