When I received my 'cheater' email for TPT I knew exactly what I was going to do. Then I saw Monday's TLC 'Shake in the New Year' by Jenn, I knew I'd wait to see what the CC was, & Mary Marsh chose perfect colors & dessert for me! Even though I'm still experiencing significant back pain, I ventured upstairs because I could not resist making this card!!
My friend Sue, bensarmom, posted this wonderful idea on her FB page & I pinned it. I hope this will be a resolution that I follow through on for all of 2014.
This might not be the 'typical' shaker card but I really like how it turned out & I hope it will tickle a teapotter.
Years ago a friend gave me some ep. I used this silver & it embossed so smooth, not a bubble in sight! I used the stamp positioner for the sentiment & heat embossed. I used multiple stamp sets & punches for the positive thoughts in the jar, using Tux Black & Going Gray (for silver) printing. I should've used thicker foam tape so the sentiments shake a little better. I wasn't about to un-do it!!
I wish all my SCS friends a very Happy New Year & for all to be healthy & happy. Thank you to all our moderators & hostesses for a great year loaded with so much fun. I can't wait to see what 2014 will bring!
Happy New Year!

It's wonderful when challenges work together so seamlessly. I think that it's great fun to have different elements in a shaker, and you've certainly put plenty of blessings in your jar. And the colour combo makes it all so classy. I hope your back improves soon.
