This is my card for this weekÂ’s CC453. Becky is our hostess and she chose always artichoke, baked brown sugar and cherry cobbler for her color palette. Our dessert option is to make a holiday card. I decided to go with Thanksgiving. I still needed a card or two.
I am using this weekÂ’s MojoMonday 320 sketch for my layout.
My bg striped patterned paper is something I found in my stash and itÂ’s a good match for the baked brown sugar. On the long rectangle panel I used the SU basket weave embossing folder. I added the scalloped edge in cherry cobbler. ItÂ’s the scallop trio die from Verve.
The artichoke panel has some dsp from an old SU collection “holiday harmony”. My sweet pilgrim boy and turkey are a printed image from Darcie’s Stamps. It’s her U-cuts line. They are all ready for card making they just have to be fussy cut.
I finished my card by adding a flag cut from a Spellbinders die. The sentiment is from Verve’s “bountiful harvest” stamp set.
ThatÂ’s my card for this weekÂ’s challenge.
Hope you can play along with us. We are in the 2nd and final week of our contest. You may be our next guest designer or our guest hostess.

What a great way to say "thanks". It's fun and so pretty at the same time. Love that gobbler.
