I really loved the sunset with the huge sun in featured stampers Marie-alice, aka ladybug91743 gallery here: Spring Sunset by ladybug91743 at Splitcoaststampers. I changed the design of the card, making this a CAS one layer card. You cant really see in the photo, but there are 2 score lines above & below the masked section, which look very smart IRL.
I masked across the card with sticky notes, and added a circle mask for the sun, and another sticky note across for the horizon. Sponged the sky down to the horizon. Switched the horizon mask to cover the sky, and swiped the blue ink pad across to create the water. Added a few hills by masking off and sponging green in the gaps. Removed all but the lower mask, use the hills mask to create the foreground and sponged green on them. Remove all masks.
Stamp the horses. Used grey and black distress markers to silhouette the running horses, add some white gel pen highlights around them. Stamp the large horse again on scrap paper, color & trim the body(trim off the tail & mane), adhere over the original stamped image.
Also for the CAS pets challenge, although these horses look rather wild to me!

Cindy, thank you so much for honouring me by casing my Spring Sunset card... I absolutely love your gorgeous scene....I also love horses, so for me this is a double whammy... love the wonderful sponging, the way you did the water and the highlighting on the horses... the way you have coloured the brown horse makes him look like he is very shiny and well groomed... I can see the score lines to the right and above the sun and they do look real nice... wish I could see this card IRL... it is soooo beautiful.... love it...

[THUD!] Whoa! This is quite a masterpiece, Cindy! You really amaze me with your background building abilities! I have no idea how you got such vivid colors on your horses, stamping them on to a already inked background, but whatever you did, it worked amazingly!
