This is my card for the HYCCT1309 challenge Strength of Steel - to use metal on your card.
I stamped the branch and the background script on white cs using VersaFine Onyx Black. I sponged it with Distress inks and colored the flowers with Sharpie Precision markers. They were really vibrant; to tone them down I painted over them with watered-down Spun Sugar Distress paint, blotting with a tissue as I went. I colored the branch with black colored pencil and used it to also re-define some of the edges in the blossoms. It was die cut and matted on a frame cut with the gorgeous SB Radiant Rectangles dies.
I used a yellow Sharpie to color the rhinestones in the centers of the flowers I attached to the image, using Crafter's Pick glue. That stuff is AMAZING!
I covered the front of the card with Core'dinations paper, using SB Grand Rectangles to cut it to the exact size of the A6 card base. I arranged the elements on the card according to the sketch for SC457.
As always, thanks for looking!
