This week's CAS Challenge is to use an edge punch (no dies please). I had intended to have the image panel punched as well, but it didn't end up looking right to me so the punched edge ended up on the cutting room floor. I was inspired by this photo of wall art from bouclair pinned onto Audrie/girlgeek's pinterest board which was our inspiration site this weekend. I'm stretching to try more free-hand artwork and this was a natural place to try. I cut my rectangle of watercolor paper and used ink pad lids and a wet brush to paint my flower. I then used markers to add details. I also spattered a bit of Indigo and finally added white gel pen highlights. I used a narrow Indigo frame and a larger rectangle of Marina Mist. I used the scallop edge punch on my Vanilla base and highlighted it with a strip of Indigo added behind it.

Gail, I like your painted flower, nicely done! I did this too, but haven't made mine into a card yet, (not sure how much I like it). Your image is perfectly sized and matched to your border.
