I'm having great fun with my new stamp set, which I have long admired. I had not intended for this to be a matching scene trio initially, but after the first 2 cards seemed to go together (centre & right) I decided to run with it and make a 3rd one (left). I was tempted to keep going...! No greetings yet. I boobed the last one with an ink blotch on the white area, so that put paid to offering this one layer set to a magazine, so instead you all get to have a squiz!
Masked the main areas, then sponged tumbled glass distress ink over most of the area, leaving an area to sponge the sand. Masking the horizon, sponge darker blue ink and a touch of turquoise too. Sponge on more light blue, blending the sea colors. Sponge a little rise in the foreground, first with green ink, then a touch of dark brown. Remove the horizon masks, stamp the birds, ducks and grasses. Stamp the geese/ducks? on scrap paper, sponge lightly with the same sandy color, trim & pop up with foam tape.
So for the Heatwave central theme: hit the beach this weekend!
And for the blue tones Color combo this week, love that!

What fabulous cards! They are definitely WOW3 (wow -cubed). I like how each art piece stands on its own and what a wonderful panorama that make together.
All three cards are masterpieces. Wonderful background coloring for a great stamp set.

Wow is right! I have long admired this set myself, and now it is indeed on my wish list for my next order! WOW! These are absolutely gorgeous! Living in South Florida, I really appreciate this scene too with the little sandpipers...so cute when they scurry! Into my faves and pinning it!

Gorgeous geese - and amazing background scene, times three! Popping up an extra stamped image of the goose body really adds impact to the scene. Your creations will serve as a study-piece for me - TFS!

I just gasped when I clicked to enlarge the thumbnail. WOW, I will just have to CASE these beauties. This is one of my favorite layouts with the masked section and a little ombre effect. Wow...

The intensity of your colors on white is amazing! The geese as focal subjects are so precious. I love them and the cards. Thank you so much for sharing.
