My QFTD175 Challenge to chose a past Queen with the initials J-L. I chose QFTD53 K dunbrook. Karen, I just LOVE your CAS and colorful style and how you make so many of your own colorful backgrounds., which fit in perfectly with this weeks WT439 Challenge also featuring backgrounds.
Thanks Trish for another awesome summer challenge and Karen for inspiring all of us :-)
BTW, I inked my E acrylic mounting block with the 2 colors and then spritzed with water. Placed a strip of Blue Painters Masking Tape across block. Repeated Tape 3 more times until I ran out of ink on the block. Hope this makes sense. The BG is softer and prettier IRL...typical right ?!?

Such a beautiful card and wonderful technique. For sure, it's a winner.

That twist on the Magical Masking Tape sounds like something I want to try! Thanks for describing how you did it. It certainly made a lovely background.

Love the texture from the tape in your background. Didn't quite understand your explanation of how you did it, but it looks fabulous! Wonderful touch to add pearls in the center of each flower, then one in the sentiment to tie them all together.
