A bad picture (finished the card late, DH has visitors downstairs) of a very quick card for today's TLC.
{Now replaced with daylight, non-flash photo}
This is a technique I've tried several times over the years and never felt I had a lot of success with - so I was happy to try it again.
I lowered the bar of my expectations by stamping on a piece of textured card that was sitting on the desk, and that means I'm more happy with the result than previously, since I knew it wasn't going to be perfect anyway .
A2 white base.
For the image, I cut a Memory Box bird from foam and stamped it once with black on the card. Stamped on acetate and rubbed that on to create the rippled reflection. Grass sponged using a die-namics die as a stencil. Sky and water sponged in. Music notes from WhipperSnapper, sentiment from Inspired by Nature.
I did have something a little less CAS in mind, but it's still very hot here - and Monday is housework day.
Thanks for a fun challenge, Joan.

Gorgeous, Sabrina!!! I'm so glad you gave the challenge a go today because this turned out fabulous...love the look of your script reflection and the little bit of yellow sponging in the corner adds such a wonderful glow!!!

Sabrina, we need to have a serious talk. 671 views and 8 favourites spells AMAZING, you are way too critical and under estimate your incredible talent. I love this creation!!!

I agree with Susie - this awesome card is just one example of how talented you are! I don't know what else you had in mind, but I love how it ended up!

Sabrina, had you not told us of your struggles with this technique, not one of us would've known! This is gorgeous. I love your reflection and using textured paper was a perfect choice. Fav'd!
