YAY, It is so good to have time after 3 weeks to stamp and check out other galleries That being said, I decided to combine 3 challenges into one:
First, our Queen this week is Diane (aka pinkberry), and her gallery is wonderful, with so much inspiration to choose from. My inspiration came from this one :
Second is today's F4A173 (Pleats and Ruffles). I eliminated the bow on Diane's card and replaced it with black pleated paper - not sure you can see the pleats on upload, but it is pleated
Third is today's MIX20. Dina K gave us a fantastic challenge of using black. I stamped my outline in black, came back with gray for the flower, and then took black ink and an aqua blender and painted black for highlights.

Like black and white photography, these poppies are fabulous is black and white. Sometimes black and white shows more of the artistry but the contrast that exists. Love the embossing pattern on the bg too.

First off..I'm glad you're back and creating! This image is wonderful using that technique and the b/w background is great..I really like the embossing pattern on the white. Fabulous free form flowers done in "black" who would have thought.....a beautiful result for this challenge!!
