This is for Color Challenge 424 - Primrose Petals, Whisper White and Cameo Coral. Cameo Coral? That one was a mystery to me until I looked it up and saw that it's been retired. No matter, I think I came up with a fair approximation. My focal image was stamped using Distress Markers on glossy paper (yes, green, but you have to have leaves with flowers!), then die cut into an oval and layered on two layers of Nesties Labels Five. My BG is the Rose Lace Cover-A-Card (dessert!) in Soft Cantaloupe Shadow Ink on PTI Melon Berry CS (And I think it looks sort of like Cameo Coral as far as I could tell from what my monitor showed). My lace strip served as my "seconds" for dessert. Added a tiny paper bow and three flowers stamped in Memories Unicorn on Primrose Petals, mounted all on a PTI Antique Linen base and that's all she wrote.
This combo had me flummoxed at first. Pink and orange! But I managed to work with it (by my usual route of bending the rules...) and I'm satisfied with how it came out.
Thanks for looking!

Pink for Primrose Petals baffled me when it first came out - still does. Over here, primroses are yellow and that's it. Anything else is a variety of polyanthus or primula. I think you worked that not-Primrose Pink in very well with the coral. The print layer separates them well and the little die-cut bow is just sweet.
I must never have noticed the Rose Lace before! If I didn't know that you don't really use DP I'd have assumed that was what the base layer was.

I love this card -- that tag behind the oval really makes this stand out. Love your roses they are gorgeous!
