I love the colors for today's challenge, but I really struggled to make my card. Since I don't have any SU colors, I am always trying to match as close as I can, but today, nothing in my stash seemed to work. I finally took watercolor paint and mixed and mixed until I got close to the colors. Then I randomly painted them on a piece of cardstock to make the background. Then I stamped an Amaryllis from Mark's Finest Papers set called Amaryllis Definition. The other day I bought some stamen for making flowers. I used three of those stamen on my flower to give it more of a 3 -d look. I also curved the petals and leaves. I used a sentiment from an old vellum scripture package. I stitched with black thread and added pewter brads, and rhinestones. The butterfly is from Mark's Finest Papers set called Daffodil Greetings.. I watercolored the butterfly using the challenge colors. Then I added dazzling diamonds.

Your card is so pretty MariLynn!! I love your watercoloring, and you did a great job with the colors. I like the amaryllis and the butterfly. It's neat how you did the verse on vellum. Very, very pretty!!
