Hi everybody! Here is a card I made for the Timeless Tuesday challenge this week at Flourishes. This is not a Flourishes stamp set, but those ladies don't mind...you can play along with any stamps you have, as long as you follow the challenge theme! You can check out all of the details on their blog by clicking here.
The stamp set I used was With Sympathy by JustRite Stampers. I just got this set and was really excited to color those roses! You can read all about the journey on my new blog by clicking here.
I stamped the roses and sentiment, colored the image with copics, die cut several layers, punched one layer, distressed everything with ink, and stitched it all. I think the layered ribbon detail turned out really pretty. I hope everyone is having a great day! Thanks for looking!

GAH!!! Ok, ok.....so I fav'd this, pinned it and read the harrowing story of it's creation on your blog. All I can say is "Mercy!" Why do we have to go to work anyway Kate? Why? Girl, your coloring is outstanding, the image delish. And the oh-so-can-feel-it trim is dreamy! Love-love-love this!

Katie, I read your blog post first then came back here to leave some love. I'm still smiling at your ordeal. I smile because I've been there. You persevered, you trudged onward, you crossed the finish line with this card and look what a beauty it is! Gorgeous layout (I really like the die cuts you used to frame your roses - especially using only half the die on the outside edge). The velvet ribbon was prefect choice for the vintage look this card projects. It's a beautiful card. I'm including this in my favorites folder.

Your card is beautiful!!! I love all of the details. The paper piercing, sewing, and edge punch are really nice. You did a nice job coloring your roses as well.
