Goldchicken was so full of himself that he posed for this portrait which presently hangs in the Uffizi Art Gallery. I had a couple of feathers but I don't think they are chicken feathers! I'm pretty much of a city girl so I don't know my feathers. I had fun making this and using this stamp that rarely sees ink.

Oh I just wrote a long message, but I got carried away and saved this to My Favs, then went back to the message and it was gone (don't you hate that). So as I said before, I would never think to use gingham for flowers, looks great!! I love your little story too. Thanks for inspiring me yet again.

Elizabeth - this is gorgeous!! They look like guinea fowl feathers to me but I wouldn't swear to that. You have a wonderful combination of rustic and elegant style going on here.
Sorry to disappoint you by not bringing out my knitting hens!

Talk about conceited, huh?? Well, He will be having to change this picture to the mug shot they will take when he gets caught and goes behind bars!
Love how you did this with sophistication - and still used CHICKEN WIRE! we will just pretend with the feathers! LOL

Hey hey hey... Look who it is Elizabeth! How are you girlie? Seems like forever that I have seen your smiling face on here. How are you doing? I see you are creating again, this is super country and sweet. Your gingham flower is wonderful and I do love the chicken wire with this hen. Just perfect. So good to see you, made me smile. ;0)
