It is time to try out for the CAS Spring DT! I wanted to play along for a GD spot. The theme is different floors/departments at Macy's, this first being cosmetics. While the challenge was to use paint, I kept the cosmetics theme too. My card is reminiscent of the packaging of my favorite department store line. I masked a Flourishes white card and painted stripes with diluted acrylic paint. When dry I added silver lines with a gel pen. Stamped the Fifth Avenue rose x 3 in Versamark, heat embossed, fussy cut and stacked with dimensionals. The sentiment is also in silver, die cut with Nestie Labels 9.
Best of luck to all who are seeking a spot on the DT.
Thank you all for looking and have a peaceful day.

Love the way you cut the flower and layered it! Beautiful faded old rose colour! Too funny that we both used the same sentiment for the same challenge!

Your rose is lovely Marie!! I like the way you fussy cut it and then stacked it. The pearls beneath your sentiment are so neatly placed also - there is another example of your gentle patience. :>)
