Another month already! Well, February is short so no wonder it flew by. March sees Charlene as our inspiring hostess over at CCEE Stampers, and for a fun first challenge she's asked us to use eyelets on our cards. Funny, because just this week there's been a thread in GST about brads and eyelets!!
I still like using them, and am running out of some of my favourite colours - in fact, I had trouble finding enough brass ones all the same for this simple Christmas card.
Business size card. Print paper is Echo Park for the Record, sponged with Peeled Paint. Baroque Motifs swirl stamped with Pumice Stone. Southwest corner punch and twine. Tree cut from BG Aspen Frost. Edges sponged with Peeled Paint and Tea Dye. Embossed with DÂ’vine Swirl, sponged with more Peeled Paint. Brass eyelets and ribbon threaded through. Trunk cut from Bazzill, Tree popped up on foam. Spellbinders ornaments, using the smallest die (I think it's the 2011 set), gold leafing pen for the ornament caps. Dymo for sentiment.
