Korin has once again, has given us a fabulous sketch! I did change it just a little. I switched layer three with layer four just so you could see more of the lace.
I am also using this card for the Color Challenge. I used the Bashful Blue and Raspberry Ripple, but left off the Primrose Petal. The dessert was to make a Spring or Easter cardÂ….this may be a spring card for some of you! LOL Just kidding, skipping dessert. I used this wonderful Cardinal (digi stamp) from Sweet N Sassy Stamps. I left the branch uncolored and instead used Star Dust Stickles so it would look snowy.
Lastly, this works for the central theme of the Fan Club: Icing and Sprinkles - Make it sweet, make it sparkle, make it just a little something special with this month's Icing and Sprinkles theme. I think the Cardinal is sweet and the branch is sparkly! Thanks for taking a peek!
Korin, thank you so much for asking me to guest design with you this week!

Kathleen, this is gorgeous so sparkly and colorful! Your cardinal is so beaufiful and I love the way you have added the touch of lace! Great embossing folder too! Well done!

Kathleen, you certainly captured the feeling of a cardinal on a cold winter's day...all puffed up to keep warm on his sparkly pine bough. Lovely die cuts and DP surrounding him. A beautiful card.
