Today's Ways to Use It is to celebrate the 8th birthday of this fun challenge. Thanks to all the hostesses who have provided such inspiration over the years! Linda's given us the challenge to make a card with a purple theme. Perfect for a 60th birthday card for a friend - I was stuck for an idea until I remembered the recipient had a rug in her living room with large color blocks in these shades, and the whole room was done up in plum! I used post-it-notes to mask and sponge squares. I also used a brown card stock with a bronze sheen, as Linda listed bronze as possible inspiration for the challenge.

I love that you used something from the recipient for your inspiration, Bridget. That combo of colors is really eye-catching and your sponging is so beautiful!
