I combined three challenges with this card. First is the new Mix-Ability challenge to use Resist. You know I love techniques so this was right up my alley!! A Unity music background stamp was stamped with Versamark and embossed with clear ep. The background was then sponged with Bashful Blue and a touch of Chocolate Chip. The dove image from Layers of Color's Christmas Blessings set was stamped with Chocolate Chip and sponged with Bashful Blue and Chocolate Chip. Pearls, twine, a button, lace, seam binding, and canvas fabric finish it off. I used Queen Susan's beautiful Partridge in a Pear Tree card as inspiration ...congrats, Susan for being chosen Queen for the Day!!! I used the same Christmas bird theme and used a music score background but used different stamps, added the blue, and added the ribbon, lace, twine, and pearls. I also used the blue and brown for the Free 4 All challenge!! TFL and have a great day!!

What gorgeousness. From where I sit, your card has a metalic look. I love it to pieces. The colors are wonderful and
the bow, button, twine and lace together are just awesome.

Joan, thank you so much for honouring my reign as Queen for the Day with a CASE of one of my cards! Way to go combining it with two other challenges. I love your card - beautiful background with the emboss resist and a gorgeous peace dove image with great sponging! Congratulations on having the card listed on the Favorites thread!
