Ahhhh, my daffodils have begun peeking up from the frozen earth. That Nor'Easter that is predicted to dump 5-8 inches of fresh snow surely is a figment of a meteorologist's imagination!
Behind in the challenges this week, I used Korin's lovely sketch and Michelle's suggestion to use green to make my Teaparty card.
Stamped the daffodils from Flourishes Year in Flowers 1 in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored with Copics (I used BGs like those leaves outside my family room). Partially matted with Summer Sun. Cut a deckled oval and stamped the Verve Sentiment in Evergreen Bough Distress ink. Ran some of my hoarded Handsome Hunter CS though the script EF, ran some perky baker's twine around it and mounted the components. mounted all on a Summer Sun card. PT - 1
Thanks Fran, Korin and Michelle for your wonderful inspiration. Thank you all for looking and have a peaceful day.

Beautiful card, Marie... so indicative of spring! Love your colors, and I had to chuckle about the hoarded paper.... I used some DP I'd been saving today too.

Your daffs are gorgeous! I love this beauty.
Sunshine here today, but rain is to change to snow overnight, but nothing like that which will hit the east coast. My daffs, crocus and a hyacinth are popping through too. Stay safe.

That daffodil is a sure herald of Spring. I'm starting to see them in the shops here, but so far only snowdrops are out in the gardens. Great use of the sketch to show them off so well. I really must pull out my Flourishes flowers again, I used to use them a lot. Thanks for the reminder of what a great set that was.
