Here's my card for today's Color Challenge. I just couldn't resist playing along today because (1# my good friend, Nancy, is a one of the Color Challenge's February Guest Designers #yahoo!# and #2# the dessert option of a clean and simple #CAS# or clean and classy #CAC) is right up my alley. Love when that happens! Don't you?
I started with a 4"x5-1/4" piece of Crumb Cake cs and rolled the Very Vintage Jumbo Wheel across the bottom with Crumb Cake ink. I scalloped three strips of Very Vanilla cs, adhered them together and added them along the top of the wheel's image. I sponged the edges with Crumb Cake ink, added my sentiment with Basic Black ink and wrapped the panel with Basic Black 3/8" Taffeta Ribbon. Finally, I embellished the sentiment with three pearls and adhered the panel to a Crumb Cake card base.

I REALLY REALLY love this card. I love everything about it but especially those three layers of scallops. I may have to case that idea...it is very creative and is simply wonderful!

Oh, I love the jumbo wheel b/g and your triple layered border punching. I'm sure Nancy appreciates you joining the challenge in her honor. Hey, I thought I was your #1. Oh, not, you are my #1 SUO friend. I get things mixed up at my age!! LOL!!
