Today's color challenge colors are: So Saffron, Soft Suede, and Baja Breeze with a dessert of text. Not sure my masked off word counts as text, but that's the best I can do! I started by die cutting the Joy with a post it note and used the reverse to paint my masking fluid word. I used Heather Telford's great tutorial on Masking Fluid Resist for my technique. Instead of using multiple colors, I used stamped off colors for my lighter layers. I used the pine branch image in Saffron and Suede, and the small snowflakes in Baja. Other than my dissatisfaction with the edges of my letters on the joy, I'm excited by how the technique turned out. I crumpled some Baja Seam Binding and used a Crumb Cake button that I sponged with some Suede. I also sponged the corners of my Suede card base.
Sorry for the picture quality....my battery died and I had to go with what I had!

Beautiful! Definitely a favorite and added to my infinite list of case projects! The blend of those colors is done so beautifully and I agree with another poster about the "joy" since I see nothing wrong with it! Thanks for sharing your card and wonderful technique
