Brenda's challenge to the CCEE Stampers this week was to use a tag/tags on our project.
I always enjoy doing wrinkle-free distress tags for cards, so I decided to break out of my mould and try something a bit different - I used some manilla shipping tags and made a little tag book.
I used the tags as a template to cut a slightly larger base from green Bazzill. They're small tags, so this is only about 4" high.
(The base is the width of a tag multiplied by 4, plus 1" to allow an 1/8" matt around the tags. It's 1/4" higher than the tags, scored along the fold lines and I just cut the notches by hand).
First I sponged all the tags with Antique Linen and Tea Dye. then I stamped them with RubberNecker bamboo inked up with a marker.
First tag has dragonflies from the Symphony Jumbo Wheel, coloured with H2Os.
Second tag has a verse from ODBD stamped and embossed with black EP.
Third tag has MB perched reed bird, sponged.
Last tag has Penny Black Shadow Wings stamped and embossed with white, sponged and cut out, and a grasshopper from Kodomo
You can share your tag creation with us by using the keyword here on SCS or linking on the blog .
