This is a card made with the CottageCutz Victorian Bird Bath die from the Victorian Garden Collection at The Scrapping Cottage.
I just had to play along with the "Try a New Technique" Challenge-I'm only a day late with yesterday's challenge. I did last weeks challenge too but will post that one tomorrow!
Adding dimension is always fun. You could say I am reaching new heights with this new adhesive I received recently from a "Bloomin" friend. I love the height in the layers I was able to achieve.
So here is what I used:
CottageCutz-Victorian Bird Bath Die
Spellbinders-S4-356 Floral Ovals, S4-110 Classic Ovals Large, S5-086-Bitty Blossoms
Cherry Lynn: B162 Lace Corner Deco B
Martha Stewart-Punch around the Page Vintage Floral Set
To make this sparkle I used Tattered Angels Glitter Glam in Twinkle Toes. This was a recent purchase and I am fast becoming a fan of it. Not only can you paint on glitter, but it gives it a shimmer as well. I used that on the flowers and all over the bird bath.
The image was colored with distress inks: Tea Dye & Brushed Corduory for the Bird Bath, Dust Concord (Birds & Flowers), and Peel Paint for the leaves
Thanks for stopping by to take a peek. I will see you in the gallery!
