Here is my card for several challenges this week. I am entering this in HYCCT1205-Courage, WT395-What are the Odds, FLLCOCT12-Think Pink Challenge, and the Pink Project on Copic Oz's blog....whew! Anyway, my friend Blooms challenged me to make a Twisted Circular Easel card and pm'd me the wonderful tutorial by Beate! Beate always makes the most beautiful cards and this one really made me want to try this technique. It wasn't nearly as scary as I thought it would be! Lots of fun!
For my card, I wanted to play along with the HYCCT1205 challenge for Breast Cancer Awareness. My family has been hit particularly hard this year...my mom is still recovering from her breast cancer surgery and radiation treatments and my cousin (on mom's side) is now in her own battle. Normally, I would send this card on to MD Anderson, but I am sending this one to my dear cousin to hopefully lift her spirits. I colored this feisty little piece of business (she looks like she could mix it up, doesn't she?) with Copics and popped her up. The sentiment I printed on the computer using a couple of different fonts. I think this saying really portrays a sense of courage for the HYCCT1205 challenge. My odd number for the WT395 challenge is the 3 bling hearts and also I have 3 bling studs for the dog collar on the inside (can't see them when the card is propped up...sorry). I made the dog tag using a die cut and embossing several layers of ep then stamped "Love" into it while still wet then tied it onto my little stitched dog collar for the inside of the card. For the FLLCOCT12 Think Pink challenge, I did not have a Flourishes stamp to fit this card....yet...lol! I am sure I will be shopping for one soon, but I did use all pink! Thank you all for the wonderful challenges this week. I hope everyone has a wonderful World Cardmaking Day today doing what you love with people you love...I know I am! ;) My prayers are for everyone fighting this horrible disease and their families. God Bless!

What an awesome card! Just so cute and I love the image and the sentiment is great. Super card. I'm sorry for the battles your family is facing. Cancer is an ugly disease. My husband lost his Mom, Sister and Brother to it. I think it touches everyone's lives unfortunately.

Very cool & pretty card! Love that it's a round easel card, all of your papers, patterns, layers, the felt hearts & your dog tag! Wonderfully encouraging sentiment! Thanks for sharing your story & your card details!

Love all the detail in the die cut frame. That row of white felt hearts are a great choise to divide the top from the bottom. The diggie image is pretty cute too. All the wishes for you and you family as you all deal with these cancer treatments.

This is so adorable. Love the shadows of gray on that cute little dog!
I'm loving that you used a dog image (as you and I both know little dogs can be feisty and full of fight), and all of the details and pink look superb. Healing wishes for your Mom and cousin. And
