I took this challenge pretty literal. I used a grey ocean scene with the rays of hopeful sunshine coming over the horizon. I sponged some Soft Sky over the grey to soften it a little. The sails are stamped twice and lifted on dimensionals. The message is to look for the bright side no matter what.

Oh Yes! Your sun rays are gorgeous. That's what I thought the challenge was about when I first saw it. The sailboat and its reflection are just perfect! I have not yet mastered reflections.

So lovely Kathy!!! I had no idea a gray sea could be so beautiful!!! The white sails stand out perfectly!!! The suns rays are gorgeous! Everything on your card is fabulous!!!

Oh my goodness, just pure loveliness. Who would have thought grey could be made up so beautifully. LOVE this scene and the sentiment is perfection. Just a stunning and lovely card.

I am laughing at myself today, because when I have time to comment in the HYCCT gallery I've only been looking at the lower comments - I have been missing all kinds of gorgeousness!
