I could not decide which challenge to do as I wanted to be a part of all of these 3...:0).
All I knew for sure is that I needed a card for a friend at work...this is how it all started...
I was looking through our wonderful queen for the day..Marie-Alice or..ladybug91743, and I saw this cute fun card...Biking Bella by ladybug91743 at Splitcoaststampers has a cute little story to it that might make it fun for my friend. ITs her b-day, but just the other day her son (who is back at home), just bought his 2 boys...(single dad)...ages 4 and 7 motorbikes...crazy. I guess they have some switch that can make them only go so fast and they have training wheels, but my friend Cindy who looks after her grandkids on some weekends was like...when I am there without the dad all they are going to do is sit on them...they are not turning them on and she laughed...so when I saw this " safe " bike I thought she might get a little chuckle out of it.
So as I had the bike in mind I wandered over to stephanies neat inspirational site called...LEIF, which has so many neat things, I saw this bizzare Mossy jar...http://www.leifshop.com/collections/...cotta-bark-jar, a fun outdoorsy one, and It got me to thinking I could put some flowersoft on the grass to make it look mossy and instead of a white picket fence I will make it a natural woodsy type one.
Then I also missed the sweet as pie..twisted sisters last week and wanted to join them and there challenge was to get inspired with a childhood memory and tell a bit of a story, which was easy peasy as also when I saw the bike card it reminded me of lots of fun times I had growing up on the farm going on bike rides.
Like visitng neighbors, or my grandmas in town...boy did I get in trouble for that one...lol...I was only liek about 5 and I really wanted to go visit my gramma and it was starting to storm and mom and dad sad not tonight maybe another time. Well...I am a wee bit stubborn at times...lol...so I decided no I want to see her now and took my little bike and started off on my own...like 2 miles away...dad came after me with the truck and put the bike in that back ...needless to say I did get to see her another day...:0)
or have any of you saw a beautiful rainbow and thought...maybe...just maybe if I bike fast enough I can catch the bottom...lol...never did find that pot of gold yet...but...you never know I have a BIGGER bike now...lol
Well this is prolbably getting a mite long so better let you go...Hope you enjoyed my little story and thanks for visiting...:0)

first of all, thank you so much for taking the time to honour me with casing one of my cards....I really enjoyed all of your stories...I guess I am kind of like you because when I was younger, I wrote a letter to my Grandma who lived about 1500 miles away and asked her to send me a ticket to come and see her...yeah, I got into trouble for that one lol...back to your card, I love your sparkly bike (it really makes it stand out on your card)...I also love your use of the flower soft and the woodsy fence behind the bike.....what a great scene you have created and of course the flowers and the pearls just finish the card to perfection... love it...WTG on working 3 challenges into one...

What a lovely story, Wendy - all your wonderful memories - even the one where you got in trouble for heading to your grandma's were delightful!!
This bicycle sure is a sparkly one - love this setting with the flower soft, on the grass and your gorgeous sky!! Hey, remember when after the bike ride, you would collapse on the grass and look up at the clouds to see if they were shaped like something - - - - - - -
