Hal can't fish, Hal can't hunt, he's in a bind...You hear him grunt? Come on Buck, let's go Shot he needs our help, he needs it a lot!! Confused? So am I, but head on over to the tea party to read the whole story and a very deserving destination. Wove the birch strips onto Vanilla CS, sponged with Memento Desert Sand, Archival Sepia and Memento Rich Cocoa. Fashioned the straps and buckle from Sizzix Hombre texture CS, added snaps and brads for hardware and a rubbery lure to finish (do you have any idea how un-sticky those things are???)
Thank you all for looking. Have a peaceful day.
Note: I edited with a picture taken in better light...sorry for the awful one last night!

This is wonderful Marie! What a fantastic idea. Any fisherman would flip over this. I studied it and it is pure genious! LOVE IT! Now just do us a tutorial so we can all learn how to make one too.
I do know how sticky those things are but they are way more fun to touch that worms, liver, and crickets! LOL!
Hugz - I miss ya!!!

Fantastic - what a special card. I love the weaving - wonder if some birch bark I have saved would be strong enough. And the hardware finishes if off to perfection.
