Phew.....what a day it's been....the kind of day when you're 100% emotionally drained and you just feel like crawling back into bed. Well, the show must go on so crawling back into bed just isn't an option. Instead I coped by locking myself away in my quiet place for a bit of "therapy". So, I grabbed the closest supplies I had and came up with this monochromatic masculine card for today's Man-Up challenge and the Queen for a Day challenge which honors my dear friend Cathy. I chose this gem of hers as my inspiration: SC384 God's Wonders by cathymac at Splitcoaststampers
Alas, the family does need fed before VBS tonight so this is it for me for today, but it sure felt nice while it lasted ;).
Thanks for looking!

I hope and pray your day has improved, my friend! Imagine my surprise upon returning home to discover this honor! Your day of frustration has produced such a gorgeous work of art! LOVE, love the cork accents...how clever! And of course this wonderful image is just perfect for a masculine card! Thank you so much for this fabulous tribute and your friendship, Korin!

I, too, run to my cardmaking for therapy at times. You did a wonderful job. Great monochromatic masculine card. Hope you get some much needed R&R soon.

Korin, that rugged truck stamp is so perfect for you masculine card! And I love the colors scheme both your and Cathy's card share! (I think monochromatics are difficult, but you both have beautifully sccomplished it!) Great background papers with perfect distressing too!
