Congratulations Susan (susanbri) on being our latest featured stamper. I loved looking through your beautiful gallery and noticed many bird themed cards. Here is the card that inspired me Cardinals on a pine bough
I kept a similar layout, used two birds on a branch, kept it CAS.
Stamped image with tuxedo black ink, coloured with stampin up, tombow markers and prisma colour pencil crayons. Masked image and sponged in the clouds with soft sky ink. Matted image with brown and black cardstock. Cut a piece of white card stock and score in the diamond grid using my scor-pal. Stamped sentiment with tuxedo black ink -used my stamp a ma jig to get correct placement. Punched out three circles from black card stock and adhered with glue. PUnched out three leaves and placed in upper right corner.
Enjoy your time in the spotlight, Susan.
Hugs..Pat
I am also putting this in the Ways to Use it gallery WT374 - for the birds.

Pat, thank you so much for honouring me with a CASE of one of my bird cards (I have many bird stamps as I love bird images, especially for Christmas cards - I don't have the one you used so it's nice to see a different one). Thanks also for your kind comments about my gallery. It's such a thrill to be named Featured Stamper. You coloured the birds perfectly and I love the way you did the clouds.

...sure its got a catchy beat, but can you stamp to it?
life is something that happens only when you run out of cardstock
