This didn't end up quite what I had envisioned & I wish I had used a brighter color than caramel. Otherwise I like it. The flower is wide organdy ribbon scrunched up & heated with the heat gun until it shrivels. The stem is green hemp sponged & rolled in close to cocoa ink to make it look old & dried. The music is an actual sheet of music that I distressed.

Wow! Maybe when I am a bit more experienced I will try to sort of case this for my MIL. She was a music teacher for 35 years or so. It would be perfect for her.

I love the sheet music background for your design!! It is really eye-catching!! I like the color choice. Brings to mind old, aged music from grandma's attic!!

Oh, Wow, Melody! This is AWESOME!!! I think the carmel looks good. I love the way you did the flower; great idea! I also love the way you used and tore the real sheet music. It looks perfect! In looking at this card, I see myself sitting on the pew in church looking at a very old hymn book. Love it! TFS!!!
