We had the privilege of using one of Arizona Maine's, a/k/a Angela, beautiful cards to case for the CAS challenge this week.
Angela knows that I am a recent "STALKER" of her gallery. She just can't seem to get rid of me. So, of course, as a "LOYAL STALKER", I felt it my duty to play the challenge this week. I don't get to many challenges now days.
Angela, it's SO hard for me to do CAS. I wish I could do it as elegantly as you do. I have a couple small layers, but for me this is definitely CAS.
I was going to use flowers and a pot; but, wanted to do something different; as my eyes wandered through my stamps, I saw this beautiful clock just waiting to be used. I haven't used this set yet though I love it.
Pretty simple explanation. Stamped the clock on a nestie that has been popped up on dimensionals, added a sentiment on the side just like Angela and placed 2 filigree brads on each side of the sentiment.
Angela, you drove me to drinkin' on this one cuz I don't do CAS that much; but, I have to say, once I saw the clock, this came together in 30 minutes or so rather than 3 hours like most of my cards! It kind of picked up my mojo which has been lacking as of late.
This was lots of fun and thanks for taking a look.

Love your CAS card Sis! It has some awesome elements on it - makes me want to case it! If I only had that stamp set... Actually, when I first saw sentiment (I have that one) I actually thought it said a whimsical sense of time and the funny thing is that I agreed with what I thought it said. I do think a whimsical sense of time is a form of wealth. Well, it is early and I don't have my contacts in....
Lovely card - I love both the cards you did recently so I definitely think your Mojo is doing well - hope you are too. Hugz!!!!

Very clever use of this sketch, Pam...the clock with this sentiment packs a powerful punch of a message! Love those two elegant brads! You sure you don't do CAS ALL the time in secret...seems like you've had an awful lot of practice! : )

You could have fooled me Miss Pamzi. I think this CAS is simply fantastic. I feel that I cannot do CAS either. Wait until you see my recent one...haha This is lovely.

Sorry to say but I'm glad to hear that it usually takes someone else 3 (or more) hours per card, because that is my norm;)
You totally succeeded with your CAS card here - wonderful job. I really like this colour combo too.

Look at you, Pam...totally rockin' out a CAS card!! I'm so darn proud of you - even if you had to knock back a drink or two (how many exactly???) to put this one together. Ha! Ha! Ha! Love that clock image. It looks so sharp and clean.

What a cool SU stamp! My grandparents had a cuckoo clock, and I saw it every day of my young life. It brings back fond memories. I like the CAS style you presented here! The fancy filigree brads are a perfect compliment next to the clock.
