Another card for today's button challenge. Kraft is background for picture.
Sometimes less is more and on this card, one perfectly placed button is all it needed!
I saw this card on the cover of a craft magazine, I think it was two yrs ago this coming spring. (Sorry, I don't have "credit" for it, only kept the cover pic.) It made my heart sing! I knew I didn't have the stamps or some of the other "ingredients" but I was determined to closely case it. I did buy the wonderful Cosmo Cricket paper but was intimidated by all the layers. I have "sat on it" all this time. Today, after having made lots of cards w/layers, the sketch didn't look so intimidating to me and I gave it a try. Took me over two hrs BUT it was worth it cause I LOVE it!
I had the CC paper but no little lamb stamp. I cut the little lamb from my Quickutz die. It consists of eight ( pieces ... definitely requires a Quickstik to pick up and place the tinies! The body and head "wool" pieces were cut from a piece of cardstock that I textured with a mini swirls Quickutz metal embosser (can't remember the actual name of these fun little 2x2 embossing thingies to save my life!) and distressed w/Ranger di. The white mouth is done with a Signo gel pen, likewise is the faux stitching. Martha Stewart punch used to cut the lacey border. One misc. BUTTON w/PTI twine is all this card needed!
THANKS for looking!

I had to read all about how you made that lamb because it is so stinkin' cute! Love the whole card! In the General Stamping Talk forum, you're nominated in the FAVORITES for the week ending February 26, 2012. See post #18. Congratulations!
