Lydia's card used a technique I was not familiar with, so I checked it out and did the same technique on my card (the background). It is called Serigraph, and you can see the tutorial here:

GORGEOUS card, Barb. Your bg is fantastic...looks like a designer DP. Love the colors and the rose image that you used. The trellis band really draws attention to your Bible verse.....beautiful shading and framing on that too. Three challenges combined into one beautiful, well-thought out card!
