On a whim I decided at the last minute to join my first ever sketch challenge. Voila! The first entry in my gallery. I feel accomplished. :-) Please forgive the amateurish photo editing... I still need practice at that.
This is for January 2012's SFYTT. I used half of a doily for the top panel. I stamped the "thank you" by American Crafts twice and popped up the turquoise part with thin foam tape. The stamp image had a tiny scalloped border around the outside which I cut off, replacing it with a larger border and a petite scallop Nestabilities layer. The bird stamp on the vertical panel is by Cavallini and Co. (I found mine on Amazon). I stamped it in two sections for above the border and below the border, masking off as needed, in order to get the birds exactly where I wanted them. I deliberately made the bird under the pom-pom trim peek between the poms so he wouldn't get lost. I fussy-cut the horizontal border from one of the patterned papers.
All patterned paper is by Prima (Madeline A4 stack); all brown layers are that lightweight 65-lb cardstock they used to sell at Walmart. Doily by Hallmark. Inks are SU (basic brown), Martha Stewart (turquoise, it came in a set with a monogram stamp set), and Tim Holtz (walnut stain Distress). I bought the pom trim years ago at Archiver's. Card base is Papertrey's white. (Great for card bases!)
So... I think that's it? Let me know if you have questions! Thanks for looking!

Wow, Heather. This is gorgeous. Hard to believe you haven't posted before as this looks nothing like the first card I posted! Welcome to the gang and hope to see you posting many more cards to come. Get inky.
