What an awesome challenge that Judy gave us today. I was stumped at first because I dont have any light colored inks. The week before last I saw this TUTORIAL on Carol (Gingerbeary8's) blog how to make a product that is similar to glimmer mist that only cost about $.60 when I factor in the cost of a dollar spray bottle. I sprayed Champaign mist on the embossing folder, then embossed. I added some tissue paper/lace flowers with hot glue pearls in the centers. I wanted something to use as a base for my flowers, so I quilled the flourishes. I printed the scripture from 1 Chronicles 16:23 onto cardstock. I am going to give this card to the youth pastor and his wife as a thank you for driving to WINTER JAM (4 hours away) with 2 vans full of teenagers.

Really beautiful, I love the pearl glimmer mist you made, it looks just like the inside of beautiful shell. Your flowers and quilling are amazing too. If it was mine, I'd frame it. It would be gorgeous in a frame hanging on a wall.

Marilyn this is enchanting. The champagne misted background is the perfect backdrop to you exquisitely crafted flowers. I am so happy you found a use for the tutorial!!! You certainly made a most spectacular card!
