Love Day is getting closer so hearts are the perfect challenge! I made a field of heart flowers for my heart card.
I stamped the grass across the front of a vanilla panel. The various hearts were stamped, cut out and popped up on top of the blades of grass. I added a little color to some areas of the hearts using a combination of Tombow markers and Prismacolor pencils.
I already had this dp from Cosmo Cricket picked out and it turned out to be a really tough color of red to match. The only way I could come close was using both the markers and pencils. I added some little crystals on top of the hearts. The finished card is 5.50 x 4.25.
Thanks so much for looking! Closeups are on my blog: The Write Stuff
