I'm in a Valentine card mood. I used the Spellbinder Fleur De Lis Pendant die to create the decorative background for my rose nosegay. I hope it looks like a rose to you. I wanted to make a red paper rose but didn't really have any floral punches or dies that would work. I pulled out my 1 1/4" and 1" circle punches and punched out several circles to see what I could do. I distressed the circles using a stylus on my mat to make the paper flexible enough to roll and wrap. I tightly rolled the first circle ( 1 inch) and kept adding circles to get the appearance of a rose. I finished with a 1 1/4" petal that wrapped pretty much all the around the rose so it would look closed. I attachedthe foliage and flower to the card front and added a multi loop red bow. This reminds me of the single rose corsages Mother made in the flower shop during Easter and Mother's Day. My blog: http://kittiekraft.typepad.com/kittiekraft/

what a beautiful card, I had to go back up and look at the rose again when I read your discription, I thought it was a Ready made rose at first, how brilliant and creative.

Just beautiful - love the softness of the organza ribbon with the floral spray. It reminds me of some other flower, and the name just won't come to mind. All I can think of are anthuriums which isn't right, but there's another one of those glossy red exotics that's shaped a bit like the grains in an ear of wheat.
Kittie this is beautiful. I just need to step inside of your brain and look around for a little bit hoping I may soak up some talent. You have so much you could spare a little!!! Another wonderful card.
