This is my sample for cc356. Betty is our hostess and she chose an awesome trio of colors-island indigo--lucky limeade and basic gray.
Dessert is to use something new. I used the MFT “banner day die”.
I made a letterpress background with the spellbinders circle impressabilities. The first panel was inked with basic gray ink and the smaller panel was inked with island indigo.
My Pure Innocence image -from the “my umbrella” set was paper pieced with island indigo and lucky limeade dsp. I cut her out and used foam tape to place her in the oval frames.
I used the banner day die to cut my banners and stamp my sentiment-its from the MFT my umbrella stamp set also.
I finished my card with SU basic gray satin ribbon and a button center.
I am also entering this card in the January MFT guest designer contest.

Mary, what a sensational card. Love that letterpress bg.....love the subtle shading you achieved. The sweet image and message in the banner really make for a special card.
