Our Daily Bread Designs challenge for this week is to use Geometric Shapes. Use at least 3 different shapes on your card (for example oval, rectangle, and square base). See all the details Saturday, October 22, 2011 on ODBD's Design Blog and please use the keyword ODBDSLC81 so we can enjoy your creations too!
This week I used Scripture Collection 7. This birthday card is for a friend who is tender to my heart- and faith we share is key to that connection. Scripture sets are my very favorite- because the Word always speaks to the heart, in every situation. The colors were inspired by the background paper. I rarely use this peachy tone, but I really like it. The blooms are made with a peach floral DP from Graphic 45's Baby & Bride Collection. The edges are sponged with Cameo Coral and have cream colored pearls in the centers.
I tucked in a few dark chocolate Cheery Lynn Vines from the Fanciful Flourish die cut and added a few more pearls to the sentiment panel.
I hope you can join this Our Daily Bread Challenge! Thanks for looking.

How many treasures are bound up in this card!! The treasure of creativity given by the Creator, the treasure of friendship and the treasure of a kindred spirit. Love every precious detail of love poured into this floral, flourished, scriptured beauty. You know I LOVE the chalkboard detail in the background. You sure know how to combine the most fabulous of elements. Whew!! What great things happen when led by the Master's hand.

Gorgeous! Those flowers are so pretty and I love the way you added the vine! I'm going to have to look for the vine die because it looks so beautiful the way you use it on your cards. Thanks for sharing your work of art Pat.
