What better way to add cheer to someones life than sending a bouquet of balloons, which just happen to be "faux" M & M balloons. These are going to Charlene, aka Lilluvsstampin, aka Bertie, aka one who flings stuff. Apparently while on a trip with a friend, she had to have an emergency gall bladder surgery. SO, we are sending her cards to greet her when she finally gets home.
That all said, this card is also for the F4A which was to use "mainly blue". Got that covered. Just happen to be trying some different supplies yesterday and made a blue panel that I did my balloons on today.
It is also for the QFTD challenge where a new queen has been chosen. Dianne, aka eured99, is our new queen. Congrats Dianne. I chose this card to loosely case.......details....
I punch a circle in a piece of regular paper to use as my guide. Then with acrylic paint I floated an edge around the circle, then drew around it with a pen. Did this several times to make my bouquet.
Cut off the corners, layered with red cs then and orange card. Added the double ribbon bow to hold them altogether.
Well, I hope Charlene likes her "double M" balloon bouquet........TFL :0)
Hi Sis! Still moving that leg I hope. Luv ya! Hi NC Sis! How are your legs doing? hehe

Love the texture the acrylic paint gives here. You are so creative. I'm choosing to think those are dark chocolate M&M's. What a great idea for an M&M lover!

What a cool bouquet! I went to Disney World with my daughter and family a few years back. My grandson was 4 and too little to ride a ride they all wanted to go on. So I took him to a big candy store and told him he could have anything he wanted. He got blue M&M's! Really do love how you made this. Great card as always.

I like the dimension of the M&M panel - great idea to do faux ones - not so many calories that way! I also like the bow - need to keep those strings together!

I love this "fun" blue balloon card, Cathy!! You certainly have the "blues" covered here with this bunch of balloons!! Your orange and red framing really sets the whole bouquet off, with the bow being the crowning touch!! I love how you have also framed the whole photo!! Charlene is going to love this card, and won't do any flinging of these M&M's!
