This is for Anne's inspiration challenge. Although the web store was full of fun and colorful items I selected this Rooster paper napkin. Now, I don't particularly like roosters BUT I still have a few more DTGD challenges to complete and this wrapped up three!! And I bet your wondering why I own a rooster stamp set if I don't like roosters. What can I say, the set has a pretty bg stamp...
Rooster was stamped on very vanilla in black stazon and watercolored. I used Basic Gray and randomly stamped the bg stamp and the feathery stamp. I sponged more mustard over the entire image and then mounted on real red and basic black. Stamped three images from Artifacts on right side of base and adhered a torn and distressed strip of more mustard stamped with a chicken wire bg and ran it through bs with the square lattice ef. Used newsprint for panel and stamped the feathery image on top. Added the three brads, the black twine and the swirly gizmo thingy from hodgepodge hardware at the top left of main image. Distressed base with Crumb Cake.
TFL, time to sleep!

Beautiful card! You did a wonderful job watercoloring the rooster, and I love the chicken wire background stamp, embossing, twine and how you used the "swirly gizmo thingy" (that's one of the pieces from those kits that I always have trouble using). Thanks for sharing!
