This is the first time I have been chosen to participate in anything on SCS and I am so excited. I canÂ’t believe that this week, as a CAS guest designer, I am part of the CAS design team with some of my most admired artists and crafters. This group is so talented so I feel a little nervous and intimidated today but also feel very honored to participate. So here is my entry for todayÂ’s challenge, belated birthday.
This card is inspired by a prom invitation from the high school where I used to work. It is a very easy card to make. It is a Z-fold card, with the flowers stamped on the bottom fold and the inside of the top fold. Cut around the flowers with an Xacto knife and tuck the fold under the cut out.
I have shown it both open and the closed.
The original card was an invitation but this also works for just about any occasion. I made a few more using different flowers, which I may post later.
Thanks for looking and I hope everyone has fun with todayÂ’s challenge.

How very pretty! I love KSS but haven't the knack (or steady hands!) to use them well...you obviously do! Beautiful colors and card design. Participate in these challenges more often, we love to see your work. We really are nice people - a little wacky sometimes, but nice! TFS
