I just love the effect of crinkled seam binding....so here is my card for today! MY DIL Jenna Barber is the queen of crinkled ribbon!! The rest of us rough it up a little, but Jenna taught me a few more steps to make sure it STAYS crinkled!! ;) She taught me to perfect this crinkled, wrinkled, very vintage look. I just LOVE it! Happy Thursday everyone!!
OKAY, the ribbon.......you take it and just ball it all around in the palm of your hands....until it's all smashed.....then I take it and (Jenna's tip)kind of fold it into an accordian.....and sometimes before I start the whole process I mist it with water. That's it - it's a pain, but it sure looks good! ;)

Oh, this is dreamy!! Your ribbon treatment is fabulous!! All that scrunching and squeezing, just think, you won't need to buy a stress ball!! Next there's your coloring, WOW!! You sure are magic with the white get pen, it brings such light to your images!! Okay, then there's your texture and amazing shabby chic distressing, pure gorgeous!! TFS!! I think I'll just sit here and look at it some more!!

Karen, Karen, Karen.... LOVE this card!! Crinkling ribbon is a PAIN sometimes, but the look is just GORGEOUS!!! And ESPECIALLY on this FABULOUS card!! I think misting the ribbon with a bit of water before hand makes the process a WHOLE lot easier!! :o) Love your vintage BEAUTY!!!~
